PANTHERMIKI
Panthermiki’s heating business started with the name Rein Haus (Cyprus) Ltd. in 1983.
Rein Haus was a contracting heating company which undertook contracting projects to install central heating or plumbing systems for individual homes as well as larger projects such as hotel flats, hotels or buildings. Eventually in 1993 Rein Haus diversified from contracting to trading with the name of Panthermiki.
The name Panthermiki means ‘the seller of everything related to heating’. Both companies Rein Haus and Panthermiki were founded by Mr Charalambos Ellinas.
Our co-operation with Giacomini started between 1984-5 when we purchased Giacomini products from Mr Mavros, a trading company in Limassol, the agent for Giacomini in Cyprus, at that time. We had a very good business relationship with them. We were fully aware of the quality of Giacomini products from back then.
Every year we visited the Milan/Frankfurt exhibitions and we were well acquainted with Charles Pascal, Giacomini’s Export Manager. So when Mr Mavros was ready for retirement, Mr Pascal came to Cyprus to visit a number of companies who were interested to cooperate with Giacomini, including Panthermiki. Together with him we visited Panthermiki Larnaca and Limassol and we explained our aim to open other two shops, one in Paphos and one in Nicosia, so we would be represented in all major cities of Cyprus.
With pictures and these pieces of information Mr Pascal returned to Giacomini and later we had the honour of being selected to represent Giacomini in Cyprus. We purchased all the remaining Giacomini stocks from Mr. Mavros and we began a direct cooperation with Giacomini.
After opening the other two shops, for an update total of 4 shops, we have some 300 technicians/plumbers who visit our shops every day.
As well as Giacomini, we represent also the following major companies:
- Baxi gas boilers, Italy
- Delonghi Radiators, Italy
- Joannes Oil Boilers and burners, Italy
- Speroni Pumps, Italy
- Intercal Boilers and Burners, Germany
Our costumers are generally extremely happy with the quality of Giacomini fittings. Obviously there are other clients, who are looking for other solution perhaps cheaper, but of lower quality ( for example Chinese Products ).
We have discussed this matter with Demetris Ragoussis and we propose a plan to find a way to increase sales of our Giacomini product. Mr. Ragoussis is very helpful to us and he always does his best for our mutual benefit.
