Child at Nursery School

NURSERY-SCHOOL

Suitable for children

The nursery-school was set up by the Company to celebrate its first fifty years. Giacomini has focussed on a detailed studied structure and on a teaching Strategy approach looked after by a pilot centre of Reggio Emilia.

This recites one of Loris Malaguzzi’s poem in the book I cento linguaggi dei bambini. When Giacomini decided to build a Company nursery-school for the employees’ children, it has been almost instinctive allowing children to continue to create new languages. For this reason, the architecture of this building is strongly communicative and a state-of-the-art pedagogical centre as the Reggio Children at Reggio Emilia has trained the teachers and studied the educational guide lines. The design and the building of the nursery-school have been managed by G!Architettura - the company’s internal group of architects and designers - following the architect Giorgio Giacomini’s starting-point.
