GE552 ENERGY METERS

GE552 is a family of energy meters to be used for direct measurement of heating and cooling consumption in centralized installations with zone distribution. All the GE552 energy meters have a double register and can therefore be used for measuring both the heating and the cooling energy.

The GE552 meters are MID-certified (2004/22/EC Directive) and ready for the centralization of consumption data according to the M-Bus standard, thanks to the integrated communication interface. Two pulse inputs allow to transfer via M-Bus also consumption data for sanitary water measured by volumetric water meters with pulse output. The device power supply is via long-life batteries.

GE552 METERS FOR GE555 MODULES AND GE556 SATELLITES
The energy meters for use in modules and satellites are based on the multi-jet volumetric measurement technology. They consist of an electronic computing and visualization unit, a section for flow measurement and two PT500 temperature probes for measuring the temperature of the inflow and return water. The user interface consists of a pushbutton for menu navigation and a display showing the energy (in kWh), volume, inflow and return temperature, temperature difference, flow and power.

Versions
Versions are available with threaded connections 3/4" (nominal flow rate 0,6 or 1,5 m³/h) and 1" (nominal flow rate 2,5 m³/h).

Certifications and compliance
• Directive 2004/22/EC (MID - Measuring Instruments Directive)
• UNI EN 1434-3: Heat meters. Data exchange and interfaces

GE552 METERS FOR BOILER ROOM
The energy meters for use in boiler room are based on the ultrasound measurement technology. They consist of an electronic computing and visualization unit, a section of flow measurement (with measuring unit) and two PT500 temperature probes for measuring the temperature of the inflow and return water. The user interface consists of a pushbutton for menu navigation and a display showing the energy (in kWh), volume, inflow and return temperature, temperature difference, flow and power.

Versions
Versions are available with threaded connections 1 1/4" and 2" (nominal flow rate from 3,5 to 10 m³/h) and with flanged connections from DN25 to DN100 (nominal flow rate from 6 to 60 m³/h).
