GE556 USER SATELLITES


GE556 is a family of user satellites for direct metering of heat energy in central heating with zone distribution where the final user requires sanitary water production. The unit is composed of a small boiler without combustion for heating operation and sanitary water production fit with the units for conditioning and enabled for an additional unit for sanitary water. Optionally, also the consumption of cold sanitary water can be measured with a volumetric water meter. The thermal energy metering is carried out by an energy meter that complies with the MID Directive (2004/22/EC) and arranged for communication according to the M-Bus standard.

 

 

GE556 STANDARD SATELLITES

The GE556 standard satellites are equipped with an integrated heat exchanger and allow:

- ON-OFF control of the heating system;
- local instantaneous production of hot sanitary water;
- direct measurement of the energy used for room heating and production of sanitary hot water.

Optionally also the consumption of cold sanitary water could be measured.

 

 

GE556 SATELLITES FOR INSTALLATIONS WITH CENTRALIZED SOLAR THERMAL SYSTEMS

In addition to the functions offered by standard satellites, this unit can use water preheated by a centralized solar thermal system. In this way, free and renewable energy can be used in the production of hot sanitary water, limiting the quantity of thermal energy taken from the heating circuit only to the necessary integration.

 

 

GE556 SATELLITES FOR EXTERNAL HOT WATER CYLINDER

When, in addition to a local hot sanitary water production, you want to store it at every apartment, a special satellite can manage an external hot water cylinder with an integrated heat exchanger. In this case, the production of hot sanitary water is controlled by the thermostat of the cylinder. This satellite offers the advantage of a production phase of hot sanitary water released from the time of use.

 

 

GE556 SATELLITES WITH INTEGRATED HOT WATER CYLINDER

When demands are high the satellites may offer many additional features. Thanks to the integrated cylinder and the auxiliary heat exchanger, they can produce sanitary hot water in two ways to ensure ideal comfort in any situation. The regulation function allows their use in apartments with terminals of different systems (radiators or underfloor heating) and offers many additional functions in combination with the giacoklima® bus system.
