K481 THERMOSTAT
The series of K481 digital thermostats permits the control of radiant floor and ceiling heating and/or cooling systems in combination with the components for the giacoklima® bus thermoregulation and other compatible devices. The thermostats of the K481 series have been developed for wall protruding installation and require prearrangement with round flush mounting box (60 mm diameter). To satisfy the different plant configurations, more versions of the K481 thermostat are available:
K481A: it controls directly the electrical or motorized actuators (for circuit interception valves or zone valves) due to the integrated relay.
K481B: it controls indirectly the electrical actuators in combination with KPM20 Unit
K481D: it controls directly through the relay outlet, a dehumidification unit thanks to the moisture tester function that completes the thermostat function. This version has an integrated sensor to detect the relative humidity; it can moreover indirectly control electrical actuators in combination with the KPM20 Unit.
K481A/B versions are available also with an integrated sensor for the careful detection of the relative humidity of the room air bulk. The K481A version has an integrated sensor of relative humidity and it offers an additional function of active safety if it is used in combination with a KM20x controller. In case of multizone ceiling systems with radiant panels in summer operation (cooling), this version can individually elaborate the value of the condensate temperature. In condition of flow requests and with the approaching of the critical conditions forming the condensate, the area controlled by the thermostat is automatically excluded and this is signalized on the display through flashing of the condensate icon.
