Pre-assembled R557R-2 manifold

The pre-assembled R557R-2 manifold allows the mixing function with fixed-point regulation and the distribution in underfloor heating systems (only low temperature) or in combined systems (high and low temperature). Depending on the version, 4 to 12 connections for low temperature circuits are available.

Group composition
At delivery a pre-assembled R557R-2 manifold consists of:

• a white (RAL 9010) painted sheet cabinet with reduced depth (110 mm), door, adjustable frame, padlock, key and side holes for circuits connection;
• a 1" inflow manifold with balancing lockshields with mechanical memory and flow indicators;
• a 1" return manifold with micrometric valves and handwheels for manual operation;
• a mixing group with a 3-speed circulation pump, a thermostatic head and a differential bypass;
• a safety thermostat;
• a draining lockshield valve;
• an air vent;
• two thermometers.
 

Additional functions
The pre-assembled R557R-2 manifold can be alternatively equipped with one of the following kits:

• R553A high-temperature kit with 2 or 3 connections for radiators or towel rails;
• GE550 heat metering kit.

Instead of the handwheels, electrothermal actuators normally closed (R473 series) or normally open (R478 series) can be installed on the return manifold for the automatic individual temperature control of every room or zone.
 

R553A HIGH-TEMPERATURE KIT The R553A kit allows the distribution of  high-temperature water for radiators or towel rails. The kit consists of: • a 1" inflow manifold with balancing lockshields with mechanical memory; • a 1" return manifold with micrometric valves and handwheels for manual operation; • 2 interception valves; • 2 brackets for mounting in the cabinet.

GE550 HEAT METERING KIT The GE550 kit allows the heat metering and the ON-OFF control of the heating. The kit consists of: • a 1" inflow module with a 2-way motorizable zone valve, a filter and an interception valve with temperature gauge housing for a temperature probe; • a 1” return module with two interception valves and a plastic spacer pipe to be replaced with the flow meter. The GE550 kit must be completed with a GE552 heat meter and a K270 or K272 valve motor to be ordered separately.

CUSTOMIZED MANIFOLDS
