Why we use dynamic balancing valves

A non-balanced system is basically inefficient.

Systems that feature DB valves with thermostatic option can maintain a balanced flow rate in every radiator at all times. This guarantees the right thermal energy value in every zone of the building, with no overflows, and great benefits in terms of energy efficiency and comfort.

Balanced flow rates in every circuit for top-notch comfort and energy saving.

The DB range provides everything you need from a radiator valve

As the evolution of one of our iconic products, we used the best of our expertise and technical skills.

Should the flow rate tend to rise when closing the other thermostatic valves of the system, the cartridge membrane will reduce the opening surface and automatically limit the flow rate to the setting value. Should the flow rate tend instead to decrease below the setting value, the cartridge membrane will extend the opening surface and restore the setting value.

An all-in-one product for accurate and full control of radiator systems.

Ideal control of differential pressure values up to 150 kPa and flow rates up to 200 l/h (with thermostatic heads): DB valves provide an outstanding performance in every application, especially in buildings with numerous storeys.

Save time in calculations and calibrations on site, especially when upgrading complex systems.

In case of accidental damage, the maneuvering bonnet, as all other valves by Giacomini, can be replaced without turning OFF the system. In this way there is no need to empty the system, and the installer’s work, as well as the users’ discomfort, is limited to the minimum.

In upgrading works, DB valves (both with iron pipe or adapter connection) feature the same dimensions and center distances of TG and PTG valves.
