Gas ball valves with EN331 certification

The European standard in the name of safety

We decided to have our ball valves for gas distribution systems certified according to the EN331:2015 standard, so as to guarantee and increase their reliability and safety.

This European standard establishes the construction characteristics, performances and safety guarantees of ball valves used in gas distribution systems of first, second and third generation (EN 437).

Gas ball valves with EN331 certification

Our valves are divided in two classes of high-temperature resistance (e.g., when the system is exposed to heat in case of fire):

  • GA series: EN331:2015-certified valves, no requirement for resistance to high temperature, class A
  • GB series: EN331:2015-certified valves, resistance to high temperatures: class B 0,1; 650 °C for 30’

Why are our ball valve different

  • UNI EN 12165 CW617N nickel-plated brass bodies and sleeves
  • Full port
  • Yellow handle (varnished aluminum T-handle or lever - the aluminum lever is a handle with yellow anticorrosion PVC coating)
  • Control stem with dual sealing system
  • Bolt with anti-corrosion coating, warranty seal and hologram
