Giacomini at Hydrogen Expo 2024: Our Commitment to Hydrogen Continues

From September 11th to 13th, 2024, Giacomini participated in the Hydrogen Expo in Piacenza, one of the key events dedicated to the hydrogen sector. During this occasion, we had the pleasure of meeting many industry professionals, all united by a shared interest in hydrogen technologies and, in particular, the innovative solutions we are developing in this field.

A highlight of our presence at the exhibition was the presentation of the prototype for our innovative hydrogen boiler, the result of a long-standing collaboration with the Politecnico of Milan. This project represents a crucial step in the pursuit of sustainable energy solutions, positioning hydrogen as a key resource for the future.

Moreover, during the third edition of the Hydrogen Expo, we had the honor of receiving the ITA Award (Italian Hydrogen Technology Award) for Best Company in Application Innovation within the HVAC sector. This recognition marks another important milestone in our journey toward developing innovative and sustainable solutions in the hydrogen sector, further cementing our leadership in the market.

The Hydrogen Expo also gave us the opportunity to reflect on our 20-year commitment to this sector, showcasing the various milestones that have brought us to where we are today:

2005: Began testing the hydrogen boiler

2006: Presented the catalytic hydrogen burner at the Turin Olympics

2012: Advanced hydrogen boiler with single-channel solution

2016: BIG H2IT Project with EU funding

2017: Partnership with Solenco Power NV

2023: Partnership with Hylife Innovations - InnovaHub

2024: First prototype of the next-generation H2ydroGEM 5

This journey demonstrates our continuous dedication to innovation and sustainability—core principles that drive every one of our projects.

With the establishment of the Sustainability District and the inauguration of the Hydrogen Museum, and with hydrogen as the cornerstone of our energy strategy, the Giacomini Group is ready to lead the change and play a key role in building a sustainable future.

Looking ahead, we are determined to continue on this path, with the goal of developing even more sustainable and cutting-edge solutions. Specifically, at ISH in Frankfurt, we will have the honor of presenting our latest advancements, unveiling the first pre-series sample of the H2ydroGEM 5 hydrogen boiler—another step towards a cleaner and more efficient energy future.

Stay tuned for further updates and continue to follow us on this exciting journey toward the energy of the future!
