On January 11th, we had the honor of welcoming the Honorable Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, Minister of the Environment and Energy Security, to our Sustainability District and the Hydrogen Museum in San Maurizio d’Opaglio.
A Dialogue on Innovation and Energy Transition
The Minister's visit provided a valuable opportunity for dialogue and discussion on key topics such as energy sustainability, technological innovation, and the role of hydrogen in decarbonizing the building sector. During a guided tour of our facility, we showcased the advanced technologies in which Giacomini is investing to build a more sustainable and efficient future.
Special attention was given to our radiant heating systems and the hydrogen-powered heat generator, developed in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano. Currently in the pre-certification and industrialization phase, this project represents a significant milestone in the heating sector and a concrete step toward energy transition.
Research and Development: Our Commitment to a Sustainable Future
Hydrogen is one of the key resources for decarbonization, and Giacomini has been committed for years to researching and developing innovative solutions that support this transformation. Our continuous investments in this field allow us to play an active role in the clean energy debate and collaborate with leading institutions and technological partners.
A Territory Looking to the Future
In addition to visiting our facility, the Minister also explored the Museo del Rubinetto, recently presided over by our own Davide Filiberti. The Museum stands as a historical testament to the deep connection between the local territory and the hydrothermal sanitary industry, blending tradition and innovation in a journey that highlights local expertise and its global impact.
Welcoming such esteemed institutions and sharing the results of our daily efforts is a great source of satisfaction and motivation for us to continue on our path of sustainable growth.
We will keep investing in the future of energy, knowing that every technological and innovative advancement contributes to a more efficient and environmentally friendly world.
