Our Commitment to Concrete and Transparent Sustainability
In the context of a growing commitment to sustainability and in response to new European regulatory requirements, we have launched a structured ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) reporting process. This is a necessary and strategic evolution that actively involves all our branches worldwide.
The new Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), adopted at the European level, extends the obligation of sustainability reporting to an increasing number of companies. Starting in 2026, the Giacomini Group will also be required to publish a Sustainability Report as an integral part of its consolidated financial statement, in accordance with the ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards).
To best prepare for this change and ensure an effective transition, we have chosen to act in advance: we will voluntarily publish our first Sustainability Report in 2025, referring to the 2024 fiscal year. This decision will allow us to test our data collection and management processes, identify areas for improvement, and gain familiarity with the required standards—approaching the process with awareness and transparency.
Giacomini’s 18 international branches play a central role in this initiative. Their active participation enables us to collect essential information and to build a report that reflects the reality of the entire Group, giving voice to each region, culture, and team.
At Giacomini, diversity is a concrete asset. It is through the daily dialogue among different languages, experiences, and perspectives that our most innovative solutions are born. Involving every branch means not only meeting a regulatory obligation, but also strengthening our way of doing business: open, inclusive, and future-oriented.
Sustainability, for us, means responsibility. And responsibility means acting together, with transparency and a shared vision.
