Team Up! – The first edition of Giacomini’s corporate sports festival

After months of preparation, seeing this project come to life alongside colleagues, families, and partners was an authentic and moving experience. The day’s program, filled with sports, fun, and social activities, provided the perfect opportunity to strengthen bonds and experience the company in a different and engaging way.

The day began in the morning with two parallel sports activities:

• A group bike ride starting from the Giacomini headquarters and ending at Centro + Sport, which brought together many colleagues and their families for a relaxed and well-attended moment of connection.
• A youth football tournament, featuring children from the San Maurizio Calcio, Borgomanero, and Corbetta teams, accompanied by their families and friends.

In the afternoon, starting from 4:00 PM, the official company celebration kicked off with a rich program designed for all ages:

• A large kids’ entertainment area, featuring inflatables and snacks.
• A food zone with a variety of food trucks offering hamburgers, hot dogs, fried treats, grilled sausages, artisanal gelato, cocktails, and beer;
• Live music and a DJ set that filled the evening with a festive and friendly atmosphere;
• The final match of the traditional company football tournament, where the Office team claimed victory once again, repeating their success from last year.

During the award ceremony, Maria Adua Filzoli, one of the company’s managing partners, delivered heartfelt remarks in memory of the Founder, Cav. Alberto Giacomini, highlighting the importance of the family spirit that has always guided the company.

The day was also a moment for remembrance and reflection: a minute of silence was observed in memory of our recently lost colleagues Simone Biancani and Emanuele Peraldi, and we paid tribute to the 10th anniversary of the passing of our Founder, Cavaliere Alberto Giacomini.

The event concluded with smiles, toasts, and applause, with over 400 participants in attendance — a great success that confirmed once again how team spirit, a sense of belonging, and shared values remain central pillars of Giacomini’s culture.

A special thanks goes to our marketing team, who coordinated the organization with enthusiasm and precision, and to our partners Verbano Events and Fabio Cazzin from San Maurizio Calcio, whose operational support was invaluable.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to the HR department and especially to Simone Beffani, who, as per tradition, oversaw the event logistics and the organization of the corporate football tournament with dedication and precision — an eagerly awaited and much-appreciated fixture for everyone.

Thank you to all those who participated with energy and team spirit, making this first edition truly unique. A special thought goes to those who believed in the idea from the very beginning and encouraged us to make it a reality.

The success of Team Up! 2025 is only the beginning: this first edition gives us the drive to look ahead to the next one, with the ambition to grow and do even more, together.
