HPM heat pump uses the R32 high-efficiency cooling gas, which features a low impact in the environment

  • Compared to the cooling gases available on the market, R32 already meets the European standards to be enforced in 2025. It features an Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) equal to zero, so it doesn’t affect the ozone layer when released into the atmosphere. Plus, its relatively low GWP* index (675) guarantees one of the most reduced environmental impacts to date. The R32 gas is also characterized by low levels of toxicity and flammability, so in case of accidental leaks in domestic installations its concentration would never be able to spark a burst.
    * The Global Warming Potential (GWP) indicates how much a substance contributes to the global greenhouse effect and compares the impact of 1 kg of gas to 1 kg of CO2 over 100 years.
