It is with great pride that Valentina Giacomini – CEO – announces the publication of Giacomini S.p.A.’s first Sustainability Report, prepared on a voluntary basis. This milestone marks a decisive step forward in our journey towards greater awareness and responsibility, not only as a company but as a community looking to the future with courage and transparency.

This document is not just a reporting exercise on environmental, social, and governance topics: it is a shared narrative, inviting us to pause, observe what we have built, and reflect on the path ahead.

Over 70 years of responsible innovation
For more than seventy years, Giacomini has been a key player in the HVAC and plumbing industry. Today, more than ever, we are aware that our responsibility goes beyond the quality of our products.

We have developed solutions aimed at energy efficiency, waste reduction, and the intelligent use of resources, with a tangible impact on reducing CO₂ and NOx emissions. In our plants, we recycle 100% of brass scrap, gradually reduce the use of oil-based emulsions, and optimize alloy separation to achieve more sustainable production.

Water at the heart of our commitment
An element that has always been part of Giacomini’s story, water remains our source of inspiration. Not only is it at the core of our products, designed to promote its responsible and efficient use in buildings (hydronic solutions), but also of the project “A Presence Among the Waves” , which provides the guiding thread to narrate this long-standing and ongoing commitment.

People, the beating heart of our company
We believe that sustainability is, above all, a commitment to people (social responsibility). In 2024, 98% of our employees were on permanent contracts: a figure that reflects our determination to build solid, long-lasting relationships.

We invest in training, safety, well-being, and work-life balance, convinced that a strong corporate culture is built on mutual trust.

Among the most significant initiatives, we highlight our company kindergarten, active for more than 20 years in San Maurizio d’Opaglio (Giacomini Nursery-School): not just a service for employees, but an investment in the future, supporting the growth of new generations.

This first Sustainability Report represents both a starting point and a promise: to build, over time, an approach increasingly consistent with our way of doing business and with the expectations of our stakeholders.
