From November 26th to 29th, Giacomini was present in the Big 5 Global exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Centre, in the United Arab Emirates
The Big 5 Global is one of the largest exhibitions on construction celebrated on the planet. Reunites the most important companies from five different areas: HVAC, concrete, marble and stone, heavy equipment and urban design. Located in stand No-2E70, Giacomini’s presence in this important global meeting was focused both on promotion of the brand’s HVAC solutions and the opportunity to establish strategic connections and meet new partners in the construction sector.
Giacomini stand featured numerous products, an ample representation of the wide catalogue of the manufacturer, ranging from water management to fire protection systems.
Products for HVAC: Giacomini highlights at Big 5 Global
An interesting product featured was the fan coil kit R280KC. Designed for terminal units of heating and cooling systems (fan coils, chilled beams or ceiling HVAC systems), the kit allows the flow rate to be set and maintained constantly when the differential pressure of the main circuit changes.
R280KC includes a diverter ball valve to bypass the terminal unit, a full-port ball valve with integrated filter, a pressure-independent control valve (PICV), a manual air vent valve and a drain cock. Thanks to be pre-assembled, which facilitates installation and configuration times on site are speeded up.
For the balancing of the systems, the PICV valves are essential. Giacomini has in the R206A model a reference in the market thanks to its dual regulation scale (High and Low), hermetic seal, first-class reliability and extreme compactness. R206A controls and maintains the flow rate even when the differential pressure values change inside the hydraulic circuit, guaranteeing top-notch comfort and energy efficiency.
In the components for boiler rooms section, the R153 range of pressure reducers was featured, with variants with diaphragm or piston, and the R156 thermostatic mixer and R910 ball valves.
Components for fire protection
Fire protection products also had a strong representation on Giacomini’s stand. A total of six different models of valves will be exhibited: the A221, a factory set pressure reducing valve, the A201 field adjustable pressure reducing valve, the A155 and A156 pressure restricting valve and A55 and A56 angle hose valves.
